Welcome to Summer Retreat, the beginning of an exciting new chapter for A Taste of Salsa, and the perfect opportunity to leave the British winter behind for a week of sunshine, warmth and shared experiences.
Created around everything our Travellers value most, Summer Retreat combines connection, uplifting music, Afro-Latin dance, Yoga, wellness, relaxation, culture, exceptional hospitality and (never forgetting) plenty of fun, all wrapped into one carefully crafted holiday experience.
Our inaugural Summer Retreat '28 will be the Kings '28 Experience, taking us to the winter sunshine of Hurghada, Egypt. While January is delivering cold days and dark evenings back home, you'll be settling into a premium five-star all-inclusive resort, enjoying bespoke Salsa and Yoga sessions, unforgettable social evenings, carefully chosen cultural experiences and plenty of opportunities to simply relax in the sun.

Music is at the heart of everything we do. Alongside plenty of Salsa, you'll enjoy our signature MixBag soundtrack featuring carefully selected Soul, R&B, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, Afro-Latin and Afrobeats. It's not just about Old Skool, we also drop new tunes.
Whether you're dancing on our party nights, relaxing during one of our chill-out session; we'll be creating relaxed social moments throughout the week.
Summer Retreat isn't an intensive dance congress, it is a carefully balanced retreat where Afro-Latin dance, Yoga and wellbeing (including Spa & Massage) come together naturally.
Our bespoke workshops are designed to help you enjoy dancing, improve your confidence, restore your wellbeing and have fun in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or have years of experience, you'll be encouraged to participate at a pace that feels right for you.
